Images from the Muybridge Series
Animated holograms based on the Human and Animal Locomotion studies by the celebrated Victorian photographer Edweard Muybridge. Pizzanelli recognised that the way the original photographs were taken was similar to the origination process for a holographic stereogram. These holograms animate the images much the way a flick book does but with the addition of the third dimension. The 19th century brought back to life!
