The artwork was created using the sand table technique at Holografx Studio in Emeryville California in 1981.

This hologram is an image plane H2 hologram recorded from two laser-viewable H1 master plates, one for each colour. The H2 was pre-soaked in the chemical TEA to render the desired colours during recording.”
