ART IS DEAD
LONG LIVE DEATH
Not being a man of words, yet wanting to express instances in the given symbolism I will attempt to express my visual wishes in words.
'Three men on a dark windy evening in Scotland carry a boat above their heads with a quietness associated with moorland winds. They want to investigate a light on the opposite shore. As they lower the boat into the water two of the men collapse, as if shot, and begin to dissolve in the water like sherbet. The third man watches on in horror and responds by turning to the boat for a quick escape, only to find himself sat rigidly, constrained by a seatbelt, in a friend's car. He wonders if he screamed. No one in the car is looking at him. His eyelids remain open and heavy.
